The book of Psalms has served as the hymnbook and prayerbook of God’s people from ancient times and on into the present. Known as the Psalter, this collection of Holy Spirit-inspired poetry captures the highs and lows of life. The Psalms are powerful prayers, guiding us into honest communication with God. They validate our doubts, passions, fears, and longings and show us how to draw near to God in our struggles. This Bible study organizes the Psalms thematically, making it easier to grasp their main ideas and apply them to your own conversations with God.

ABOUT THE CLASS

We meet at Bethany Church Of Weddington, 4301 Beulah Church Rd, Weddington, NC 28104. At 7:00 p.m. we gather for a song and short opening before breaking into Core Groups for 45-50 minutes to discuss the week's lesson. All, then meet together for a live teaching message, finishing by 8:30 pm. Our core groups are co-ed and there is an in-person women's only core group.

We also offer 2 separate Online Core Groups that will meet Thursday evenings (WOMEN) from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. starting on September 4th and on Monday evenings (CO-ED) from 7:00-8:30 starting on September 8th.

Next Gen Ministry

Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, worship, games, and other activities, we seek to provide a welcoming and engaging environment where the next generations can learn about Jesus. Our offerings are tailored to a child’s developmental stage, starting with third graders, and going through high school. Beginning in our elementary classes, our curriculum is aligned with an adult class so that parents and their children may study the same book of the Bible, enabling parents additional opportunities to assist their children in living out God’s truths in their lives. Available for 3rd-12th grades.
