Registration is open for the 2026-2027 CBS study. The year will start on Sept. 3rd 2026 with a 6 week study in the Book Of James. James is one of the most practical books in the Bible. This course’s lessons encourage each class member to lead a more consistent, caring Christian life and to explore the practical application of faith in family and society. We will look at the theme of faith with the emphasis on what faith produces. Faith is the cause of salvation and works are the result of salvation. We will follow up James with a study in Genesis. Although Genesis is an ancient book, it speaks to some of the biggest questions we have today: Is there a God? If so, what is He like? Why is there evil in the world? Why are we here, and where can we find purpose and hope? In this course, which covers the first 22 chapters of Genesis, participants will see that God created a beautiful world and gave people a noble calling in His creation. It explains how our world was fractured by human rebellion and presents the beginnings of God’s plan to put everything backtogether.

We meet at Bethany Church Of Weddington, 4301 Beulah Church Rd, Weddington, NC 28104. At 7:00 p.m. we gather for a song and short opening before breaking into Core Groups for 45-50 minutes to discuss the week's lesson. All, then meet together for a live teaching message, finishing by 8:30 pm. Our in person core groups are co-ed,

We also offer 2 separate Online Core Groups that will meet Thursday evenings (WOMEN) from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. starting on September 4th and on Monday evenings (CO-ED) from 7:00-8:30 starting on September 8th.

Currently Studying: Psalms

The book of Psalms has served as the hymnbook and prayerbook of God’s people from ancient times and on into the present.

The Book of James and Genesis Chapters 1-22 will be studied starting Fall of 2026. Registration is open.

Next Gen Ministry

Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, worship, games, and other activities, we seek to provide a welcoming and engaging environment where the next generations can learn about Jesus. Our offerings are tailored to a child’s developmental stage, starting with third graders, and going through high school. Beginning in our elementary classes, our curriculum is aligned with an adult class so that parents and their children may study the same book of the Bible, enabling parents additional opportunities to assist their children in living out God’s truths in their lives. Available for 3rd-12th grades.
